Stingy Jack

A personal illustration made in celebration of Halloween 2020 depicting the man, the myth, the legend responsible for the modern tradition of the Jack-O-Lantern (although in the original tale it was not a pumpkin, but a radish).

In 2021 Stingy Jack was featured as the thumbnail and used as additional art on actor and youtuber (under the channel name “Eccentric Nature”) Eric Hayden’s video “Why do we have Jack O’ Lanterns? Important Halloween History.”
